Fortunica publishes separate Terms and Conditions, Bonus Policy, Privacy Policy, Responsible Gaming Policy, AML and KYC Policy, Refund Policy, Rules of Play and Complaints Policy. The documents provide useful detail on account ownership, verification, bonuses, withdrawals and dispute handling, but they do not give Fortunica an Australian licence.

ACMA named Promotech N.V. in a formal warning concerning Fortunica and included Fortunica in a February 2026 illegal gambling website blocking action. Australian users should read the local regulatory position together with the operator's own policies.

Operator and licence information

Fortunica policy pages refer to Promotech N.V. and Promotech B.V., creating a naming inconsistency that users should note. The AML and complaints materials cite Curaçao licence OGL/2024/611/0233. A Curaçao licence is separate from Australian authorisation and does not place the operator on Australia's licensed interactive wagering register.

Account policy

  • Users must be at least 18.
  • One main account is permitted per person.
  • Registration information must be accurate and kept current.
  • Passwords must remain confidential.
  • Payment accounts must belong to the registered account holder.
  • Duplicate accounts, fraud, collusion, automated play and exploitation of errors are prohibited.

KYC and AML policy

Verification can be triggered by transaction volume, unusual activity, geographical risk, device inconsistencies, payment patterns or staff discretion. The published KYC policy refers to a transaction level equivalent to about AUD 3,500 as one possible trigger, although checks can occur earlier.

Requested material may include government-issued ID, proof of address, a selfie, card or wallet evidence and source-of-funds documents. Withdrawals can be restricted while checks are pending. Anonymous or third-party payments are prohibited under the policy.

Bonus policy

  • Real and bonus funds are held on separate balances.
  • Most bonuses and Free Spins expire after five days unless stated otherwise.
  • The maximum bonus bet is AUD 5 per spin.
  • Live casino, table games and instant games do not count for casino bonus wagering.
  • Selected pokies have reduced contribution.
  • A withdrawal request can cancel active bonuses and promotional items.
  • One bonus claim is allowed per player, household, device, payment source and shared network under the general anti-abuse rule.

Privacy policy

The privacy document covers contact details, name, communications, technical information, account data and payment-related information. Fortunica states that support calls and communication history may be recorded. Users should read the retention, sharing and access sections before uploading identity documents.

Responsible gambling policy

Fortunica states that players can request deposit limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion. The policy also describes age checks and monitoring for sudden deposit changes, long sessions and repeated withdrawal reversals.

For Australia, these internal controls do not replace Australian licensing or BetStop coverage. BetStop applies to Australian-licensed interactive wagering providers, not an unlicensed online casino.

Refund and payment policy

The Refund Policy says a payment is treated as processed after the Pay button is selected and is generally non-refundable. Withdrawal requests remain subject to cleared payments, completed checks, turnover rules and the payment method's ability to receive funds.

Complaints process

The published complaints policy asks users to submit a complaint from the email registered to the account and include identity, account, date and event details. It gives a six-month filing period from the relevant incident or settlement and describes escalation to an alternative dispute-resolution route.

Australian users can also make a report to ACMA about an illegal online gambling service. This is separate from a private dispute about an account balance or bonus.

Terms that deserve particular attention

  • The right to suspend or close accounts while verification or investigations are underway.
  • The same-method and payment-ownership requirements for cashouts.
  • The 20% payment-expense clause when turnover is less than twice the deposit.
  • The ability to charge costs when deposited funds have not been played.
  • Longer approval bands for higher-value withdrawals.
  • Bonus cancellation after a withdrawal request.
  • The English-language version taking priority when translations differ.
